Pace University, Dyson College of Arts and Sciences in New York City supplies students with four graduate programs in the field of psychology. These include a Master of Arts (MA) in Psychology, Master of Science in Education (MSEd) in School Psychology and Bilingual School Psychology, as well as a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in the field of School-Clinical Child Psychology. The MA program requires 36-credit hours which includes both psychology related courses and electives of other studies. The MSEd program is a more professional educational experience, which guides graduates toward careers in the school system. Students who apply for the Master of Science in Education in Bilingual School Psychology will be tested in their competency of a foreign language. The PsyD program is highly competitive, accepting only about 20% of the applicants each year; it prepares students for practical applications within the field of clinical Psychology.
