The Department of Psychology, Sociology and Social Work at West Texas A & M University, offers a three track, adaptable program in which students can gain a Master of Arts Degree in Psychology. Graduates will be able to use their degree to gain future employment in a mental health setting, obtain a license to practice Psychology Professionally or increase their chances of being accepted on to a Doctoral program. The Masters program offers a broad range of Psychology courses which can be thesis or non thesis based. Another option is to specialize in School Psychology and receive the necessary training for this.
