There are two graduate degrees to choose from at Tarleton State University if you have an interest in psychology. The first is Master of Education in Counseling, which is designed to become a school counselor, or to work towards the LPC. The second degree is the Master of Science in Counseling Psychology (LPC or LMFT). This degree takes a more scientific, data-based approach to counseling psychology. It prepares you to either work towards a licensed professional credential, or to work in marriage and family therapy.
