The Psychology Department at Alaska Pacific University offers an individualized Master of Science Degree in Counseling Psychology which is only available to a limited number of students. Classes are kept small meaning that the faculty can focus more attention on each individual student giving them support and encouragement. The program boasts a hands on approach, placing a lot of emphasis on practice as well as theory, there are several opportunities for students to gain valuable experience by taking part in an internship.
