The Old Dominion University's Master of Science program utilizes a curriculum which has been designed to supply a strong foundation in research methodology as well as psychology in the most general sense. This presents students with a vast supply of options for their professional career choices. An MS Psychology degree does not license any student as a practicing psychologist in the Virginia Commonwealth, but some courses do supply relevant training in the professional world, which can strengthen a weak resume before continuing into a doctoral program. Throughout the study term students are required to work on professional level activities in the department alongside a faculty member. This can involve work in the subject of human factors, social behavior, cognitive processes, industrial psychology, and community.Interview
