Sofia University's Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology offers a hybrid learning experience of both on-campus and internet guided classes, making them one of the most unique educators in their field. This gives graduates the ability to work clinically with individuals seeking healing and assistance in personal growth. The Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology provides students with the ability to become licensed professionals in their field and work as marriage and family therapists or clinical counselors; this is based on approval by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. Sofia requires students to complete lab work, group projects, and a full termed practicum period. There are three programs that students can choose to lead them to success including an accelerated daytime course which takes two years with summer classes included in the time frame, a non-accelerated daytime course which takes three years, and an evening course which also takes three years, and includes online classes as well.Interview
