The University of Oklahoma Norman Campus offers a traditional approach to the world of Psychology, and has played an academic roll in the psychology community since 1892 when the first course appeared in the OU catalog. Students can work toward either a Master of Science or Doctor of Philosophy degree in Psychology and specialize in cognitive, personal, developmental, industrial, social, or organizational psychology. Applicants must have an undergraduate GPA of 3.00 and provide scores from GRA verbal tests as well as quantitative exams and analytical writing. Prerequisites also require students to have already passed introductory statistics, experimental methods, and a variety of basic psychology courses related to their study of interest.
